"Maybe I am expecting too much from you" Familiar na? There are so many expectations from the smallest thing to the biggest things in life. We expect from people, from situations, from things, from ideas, from feelings... as a matter of fact from everything. We expect a great life, a great career, a wonderful bunch of friends, an everlasting relation, so on and so forth.

Every action is either expected or unexpected! We get so deeply involved in fulfilling either our own expectations or others expectations that we almost forget what we were actually doing. So often our thoughts, feelings, words, actions and emotions are a result of someone's expectations out of us.

We fulfill all our expectations, everyone's expectations, we get frustrated, we reach the peak of giving up...but we dont & in the end we make it. WHY???.... Because these expectations are the driving force. If we dont expect anything out of something then we wouldnt set any bench marks & thus not achieve anything substantial in the end.

I think its only best for us to understand that we should expect something inorder to achieve many things.

What is the purpose of living?

What is the purpose of living?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Is there a destination that we have to reach in life? Growing is not being a leafy vegetable but being a fountain of elixir - the contents of which are again knowledge and an undistorted assimilation of intelligence. On the path of enlightenment (no I am not referring to the philosophical one), such assimilations form the bedrock of your applicative skills. I do agree that we would like to test the waters, fathom its depth, analyze and resolve the consequences. I am the one who subscribed to such theories. In science for example, do we challenge the basic equations or theorems? No we do not. Instead we use such basics to apply over our presented issues or problems. Does it not make sense to move further by using validated concepts to apply over our problems? I guess it does. The issues of basic experiences, consequences are best left to themselves. We need not waste our time, energy and creativity on reproving the already validated. Instead we use such axioms to move further in life. To translate this fact into a more meaningful dialogue is; I took the advices of my proven well wishers for my confusions. I built my convictions on such basis. Formed my opinions and action plans on a four way test; <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

a) Am I fair?
b) Will my action relieve my conscience
c) Will it do good to all concerned
d) Will my decision affect the purity of my mind.

Perhaps it's all easier said than done! A road to success, this road has speed breakers and steep curves but there is always a sign board which keeps us on track. This sign board is God. He walks with us through the difficult slopes of life and stands with us like our shadow. Just when we are about to give up and leave the road, God holds our hand and guides us to our destination. It's easy to blame God and say he wasn't there when I needed him the most.but do we realize that he was there! He was there like a father, mother, advisor, and even a beggar...it's just that we failed to recognize him. We have a glorified picture of God and faith, which is not true.
